My son has dysphagia and regularly uses drinking straws to prevent aspiration. Straws are prohibited at Animal Kingdom. Will we be able to bring straws as part of his therapy? We have reservations at Yak and Yeti. Will our dinner drinks have straws?

    Hello Franchesca!

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I hope you are having a magical week.

At our most recent trip to Walt Disney World we dined at Yak and Yeti Local Food Cafe in Animal Kingdom park and were provided with paper straws at our meals. I was very excited as my son also has some issues with feeding and I chatted with a cast member who provided us with a few extras to use for the rest of our day in the parks. You could alternatively bring in a water bottle that has a built in straw and use that for your son as well.

I hope this helps and please let me know if you need anything else as you plan your visit!

    See you real soon!
