I have a son with Down's Syndrome and I've heard that we will need to bring a doctor's note as proof explaining his condition. Is this true? Also we will be visiting Disney World in late November. Will it be warm and are the water parks still open? Thanks

    Hi Kim,

No note is necessary. Simply go to the Guest Services at the front of any of the parks and ask for a Special Accomodation Pass. This will allow you to bypass some of the wait times in the lines.

The water parks will be open in late November, and the water should be 82 degrees. The temperature can dip a little during this time of the year, but you could also find days in the 80's as well. I was there this past December, and I was sweating as it was in the mid 80's. I recommend checking the Weather Channel for the forecast prior to leaving for vacation.

In addition, make sure you have your Advance Dining Reservations made as there could still be a crowd after the Thanksgiving holiday.

    Have a very magical vacation!
