Son (4), DH,and I will be arriving WDW around 2/13 for 2 nts. Looking 4 best delx or mod resort. Is the GF worth $if not any recommendations? Son loves MM clubhouse show, do the parks have a clubhouse ride? What is the best place for character dining w/MM?

Hi Shelly!  Congrats on your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World resort.

Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is one of my favorite Walt Disney World Resort hotels.  I just adore the elegant, victorian vibe and classy atmosphere but am amazed that it still feels very "Disney."  This flagship resort is conveniently located on the monorail line just minutes from the Magic Kingdom and serves as a great jumping off point to anywhere on Walt Disney World property.  Guests of Disney's Grand Floridian Resort will find themselves seated in the lap of luxury from arrival to departure.

With that being said, Grand Floridian is one of the pricier resorts, so I am afraid you won't be able to fully enjoy the benefits during such a short stay.  If it was me, I would consider Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort.  This Deluxe resort is themed after the great lodges of the Pacific Northwest and has a warm and rustic yet distinctively elegant feel.  I haven't checked the current rates, but I'm sure you will find them much lower than those of the Grand Floridian and will be surprised to find that WIlderness Lodge is also very conveniently located a short boat ride away from the Magic Kingdom.  Wilderness Lodge is also a smaller resort, so you will be able to make your way around more efficiently. In my opinion, Wilderness Lodge offers extraordinary convenience and value and because of that fact, it has quickly become one of my favorite resorts!

While there is no moving Mickey Mouse Clubhouse attraction, your little one will absolutely LOVE the Disney Junior-Live on Stage show at Disney's Hollywood Studios park.
