Mom And Son On Run

I see you have a son and a daughter. How do you keep them both happy at Disney when some rides are for girls and some are for boys?

Hi Jeff - You will be surprised as to how often both kids enjoy all the rides - regardless of one being a girl and the other a boy.   I find that more than gender, its age that makes the difference.  Since my kids are less than two years apart, they have relatively similar interests and typically enjoy most rides equally.   The other factor, while not an issue for my kids as well, is whether they both like the "scarier" rides like roller-coasters or the Haunted Mansion.

If either age or level of ride comfort is an issue for your children, my suggestion if its feasible is to have each child do something different with one parent.   While not ideal, it can simultaneously help you visit those attractions where only one child is interested.
