My son and daughter are interested in scuba diving with the dolphins. How old do you need to be to scuba dive? How deep is the water?

    Ahoy, Elise!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You and your pirate crew are going to have so much fun during your upcoming Disney Cruise Line voyage! I'm so glad your kids are already thinking about which Port Adventures they want to take. I've been on some amazing adventures that I'd never have gotten the opportunity to do if I hadn't booked the excursions through Disney Cruise Line.

It sounds like you have two underwater explorers in your family! Are your kids looking at a scuba adventure in a particular port of call? For example, the Certified Scuba Dive at Stuart Cove is an exciting Port Adventure in Nassau, Bahamas. Your kids will need to be certified divers and at least 12 years of age. The water is quite deep; divers will drop to roughly 80 feet and explore an entire world under the water! Another scuba experience your children might be looking at is the Certified Scuba - Wreck & Reef Dive in Tortola. This Port Adventure is for certified divers ages 12 and up, too, and plunges roughly 35 - 60 feet below the surface of the ocean.

Elise, if I didn't give you the answer you were looking for, please don't hesitate to come back and submit another question with details regarding which itinerary you're sailing on. All of us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel would love to help your kids find the perfect scuba adventure during your upcoming cruise!
