Hi, my son will be celebrating his 12th birthday during our trip to Disney in April 2017, is there any birthday surprise that we can set up through Disney for my son?

    Hi Gerald!

Happy 12th birthday to your son! He will love celebrating his birthday at Walt Disney World! You have a few options for planning a birthday surprise for your son.

One option is to order a cake through the Cake Hotline and arrange to have it delivered to a Walt Disney World restaurant in which you have a reservation. You can choose from a variety of cake flavors, designs and sizes to meet your needs.

Visit Disney Floral & Gifts to find Disney birthday packages you can have deceived to your room. You can choose from a variety of packages, such as the Mickey's Grand Birthday Party, which comes with a cake! It also comes with balloons, rice krispie treats and Mickey ears. Or you could choose a Mickey's Happy Surprise Cake, which is a cake made from candy bars and Mickey Mouse ears!

Definitely make an Advanced Dining Reservation by calling 407-WDW-DINE or on the Walt Disney World website.  You can notate your son's birthday on the reservation and he may even get a special treat, such as a cupcake with candles! Chef Mickey's is a great place for celebrating a birthday, as not only can he meet the characters and enjoy an all-you-care-to-eat dinner, but they also have been known to bring out a cupcake and celebrate the birthday child.

Don't forget to ask for a complimentary Happy Birthday button when you arrive.

    Magically,
    Stacy
