Mom With Kids After Run

I would like to do something special for my wife on our visit at the end of January 2015. She is a fan of all things Pixar (but specifically Nemo and Monsters) and The Muppets. Our 13 and 9 year old very well behaved kids will of course be with us. Ideas?

Hi Nicholas! There is no better place to create magical memories than at the Walt Disney World Resort!

One of my favorite ways to surprise someone, and to make someone feel special is to contact Disney Floral & Gifts. They create spectacular in-room celebrations with floral arrangements, champagne flutes, rose petals spread throughout the room, and even gift baskets! I have used them before and I have nothing but amazing things to say about the experience! You can use a pre-arranged package that can be found on their website, or you can contact them directly and they may even be able to dream up something unique with you! You also may want to consider a special dinner at ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort (advanced dining reservations are recommended.)  This Polynesian style, all you care to eat dining experience is not only delicious, but the family atmosphere is sure to give you memories that will last a lifetime.

I also was thinking that you can make sure to experience all of the themed attractions and experiences that your wife loves!  If you visit Disney’s Hollywood Studios you can watch Muppet*Vision 3-D and Meet Mike and Sulley, from “Monsters Inc.”, near Streets of America. Also, if you visit Disney’s Animal Kingdom make sure to see Finding Nemo – The Musical; it really is a spectacular stage production that leaves you breathless!  One more tip: Finding Nemo – The Musical has shows throughout the day and if there is availability, you can schedule a showing with FastPass+.

I hope you and your family have a magical vacation! Thank you for stopping by and asking us your question!
