    Kellen from NJ Asked

Hi! Is there something similar to the Disney Event Photography on the Disney Dream? We would like to get a family photo taken while on our cruise. Thanks!

Welcome aboard, Kellen! You must be excited to set sail on the Disney Dream!

Disney Cruise Line offers quite a few photo opportunities at sea, including character greetings, roaming photographers in restaurants and at Castaway Cay, and also more formal portraits. Most nights before and after dinner, you'll find photographers set up in the atrium lobby area for family pictures. Photos are taken on the grand staircase as well as in the atrium with a variety of backdrops (both picturesque and solid colors). No need to sign up for this ahead of time. Simply stop by and wait in the short line for your family's picture. There is no sitting fee, and pictures are available the following day to view in Shutters or on one of the digital kiosks. You can then choose to purchase a picture in one or more of a variety of sizes or include it in a photo package on a cd for purchase as well.

If you'd prefer to set up another family photo session aside from those available in the atrium each day, stop by Shutters, the photography shop onboard, and speak with the Cast Members there who can give you some other options for photographing your family during your cruise. They are happy to help families who request special children's or group portraits.

I hope that helps as you continue to plan your Dream cruise, Kellen! I'm happy to help if you have other questions before you set sail, so please don't hesitate to stop back!
