Someone told me that if you have a handicap place card for parking, you do not pay for parking at the resorts. Is this correct?

Hello there, Regina! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to reach out and allowing us to help you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

Walt Disney World Resort truly goes above and beyond for their Guests with disabilities. In my opinion, they are truly committed to providing each and every Guest with an utterly magical experience. In order to achieve this, there are a variety of services and accommodations available that are available to Guests with disabilities that serve a wide array of needs.

There are quite a few parking areas throughout Walt Disney World Resort that are designated as accessible and available to Guests with disabilities. Guests with a valid disability parking permit have access to these parking areas including those at Disney Resort hotels. This does mean that Guests that present their valid disability parking permit at check-in will receive complimentary parking at Disney Resort hotels.

I hope this information assists you as you continue to plan for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Be sure to let us know if we can answer any other questions for you!
