What if someone is not retired or an active military but did serve in the military and has a VA card Is there any discounts they can get for Disney world vacation We would like visit Disney world next year but not sure of the date yet thank you

    Hi Janet,

Thanks so stopping by the Moms Panel! As long as the former military member has documentation stating that they are a veteran, they are eligible for the Disney 4-Day Military Promotional Tickets. Veterans papers like the DD214 can be combined with their veterans card, and used as proof of enlistment.

Guests would need to visit their local military base, and purchase the Armed Forces Salute tickets at the Base Ticket Office. While this offer hasn't been extended to 2016 yet, be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for announcements of any Disney military discounts for next year.

I hope this answers your question, Janet. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask us anytime. We're always here to help.

    Have a fantastical Disney day!
