Someone said that little girls were not allowed to wear Princess dresses into WDW which were purchased/made outside the Park. Is that true for children or does it just apply to adults? I have always made my granddaughters their princess dresses.

    Hi Ann,

Your granddaughters are lucky to have such a talented grandma!  There's nothing more special than a hand-made gift.  Of course your young granddaughters may wear your lovely dresses to the Disney theme parks.  With the introduction of etsy.com (a site where hand-made goods can be special-ordered), you will see an increasing number of customized or hand-made outfits on little kids in the theme parks.  In fact, when I visited last week, I saw some truly adorable ensembles.  Tell your granddaughters to wear their lovely frocks with pride and don't forget to get plenty of photos when they do.

Here's hoping that your granddaughters' next visit to Walt Disney World will make them feel like true Disney royalty!

    Best wishes,
    Jill
