Can someone give me an idea of how much time to allow for each park. It will be me, my husband, and our 2 sons (9 and 6 years old). Will be there for 4 days and was hoping to do more than 1 park a day, especially since I am getting the park hopper option

Hi, Andrea! I love answering a question for a vacation-planning mom with a great name! I have 9- and 6-year-old sons, and you can definitely do all the parks in 4 days. First, go to the calendars of the parks and find out the park hours, Extra Magic Hours, special events and entertainment schedules for the days you're there. You can start by going to the MK Calendar and clicking on the individual days to find out details.  Then, you'll need to map out a plan for each day and for what your family is most interested in figuring in travel time between parks, too.

Depending on when you're there, it will probably take a family of 4 (without mobility issues -- no strollers, wheelchairs or ECVs) about a day and a half at MK, a half to full day at EPCOT, morning until late afternoon at AK and a full day at DHS.  For our family, part of the experience is sitting down at a table-service meal each day of our vacation to talk about what we've seen and done and to plan what's next on the agenda.  You can make Advanced Dining Reservations at almost any table-service restaurant in the parks as well as other resort locations.  It's a great way to begin or end a day and savor the time together as a family.  Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
