Solo trip with my three kids (ages 6, 4, and 18 months). For one park day only, would it be better to do Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom? (Which park has more rides that I could take all 3 on by myself?) We've been to both parks before but I had help!

    Hi Ashley!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! What lucky kiddos you have! I'm so excited to hEAR you're planning to visit the Walt Disney World Resort!

Although I love Disney's Animal Kingdom Park for young children, I believe you will find there to be more attractions available for Guests of any age or height at Magic Kingdom Park. With classic attractions like "it's a small world" and Pirates of the Caribbean, I recommend visiting the iconic park with your family.

As a mom of four children which includes a set of twin boys, I've often ridden alone with just two or three of my kiddos. When my twins were little, we found that three of us could sit in a ride vehicle together on most of the slower attractions. I've never encountered any issues or felt it to be unsafe to have two of my children ride together. In fact, even when they were younger, the twins almost always chose to sit together. It's been my experience that as long as a parent is in the riding group, that two children can sit together even if under the age of 7. If you find there's an attraction in which you must split your family into two separate ride vehicles, I suggest riding with your youngest just ahead of the older two, so that you will be waiting for them at the exit of the attraction.

Be sure to utilize FastPass+ service to decrease your wait for many of the most popular attractions. I also recommend bringing a stroller for your little ones as the amount of walking can be quite tiring for those little legs.

I hope this is helpful, Ashley. Let us know if you have any new questions as you continue to plan a magical trip for your family!
