I will be solo Nov '12 staying at WL. Got everything booked, dining plan, tickets, etc while waiting for next year's special offers and hopefully will get discount on room or free dining. My question, looking for a quiet room which area should I request?

    Hi Paula,

Your trip sounds spectacular!  I simply adore Disney's Wilderness Lodge.  I can't wait for you to experience this magnificently themed resort!

If serenity is the key characteristic you seek in a guest room at this resort, I suggest you request a woods view room.  Many courtyard view rooms have stunning views of the resort's feature pool.  These rooms are great if you want to watch the myriad activities going on at the pool, but they are less likely to be quiet than rooms with a woods view.  If I were you, I would ask for a woods view room on the north side of the resort.  If you don't mind a little walk, ask for a room as close as possible to Bay Lake.  My family stayed in a room close to the dock a few years ago and it was tranquil and had a beautiful view of Fire Rock Geyser and Bay Lake.  Trust me.  There's nothing like watching the sun rise over Bay Lake in the morning.  Pure magic!

I'll keep my fingers crossed that a great discount room rate or free dining will be offered during your stay.  Meanwhile, enjoy planning your upcoming vacation and don't hesitate to let us know if you have additional questions.

    Best wishes,
    Jill
