Are snacks allowed at Disneyland? sandwhiches, juice packs, and any sort of candy?

Greetings, Jazmin! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for your question!

Touring the parks can sure work up an appetite, so I always have some snacks on-hand to keep me and my family happy until meal time. You can bring in any type of food or drink as long as it is non-alcoholic and not packaged in a glass container (small baby food jars are the exception). We usually bring things like crackers, apple slices, granola bars, and suckers in addition to our water bottles that we refill throughout the day. If you plan on bringing lunch items, it is preferred that you enjoy your meal in the picnic area just outside Disneyland Park. There are even lockers located right by the tables which make it really convenient to store a small cooler.

In addition to snacks, you might want to bring along a few other essentials so your visit can be worry free. Sunscreen, sunglasses, and hats are necessities in southern California. If you are traveling with little ones, you might also consider bringing a small, battery-operated fan that will clip on to a stroller or a misting fan to help keep cool. I also suggest bringing at least one change of clothes for any young children with which you are traveling. My daughter absolutely adores getting soaked on Splash Mountain, but shortly after we are off the attraction she wants to change into dry clothes. Finally, if you plan on being in the parks all day, bring along a portable battery charger for your mobile device. Using the Disneyland app is the best tool for touring the parks efficiently, especially if you are using Disney MaxPass. But it can drain the battery of your smartphone if you are using it all day long.

I hope you have a fabulous visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
