Do your snack credits have to be exhausted in order to convert a deluxe plan meal into 3 snacks? I’d like to save our snack credits for individual kiosk purchases later in week

Hi Deanna, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I see your Walt Disney World is coming up very soon, and I'm so excited for you!

With the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan, you'll be able to enjoy three meals for each night of your stay (with the flexibility to choose Quick-Service or Table-Service dining) plus two snacks. I'm getting a Pooh-sized rumbly in my tumbly just thinking about all the yumminess in store for you!

You should be able to convert a Deluxe Dining Plan meal entitlement into three snacks at any time during your visit – you don't have to wait until you’ve used all your snacks. I do want to encourage you to think about the value of your meal entitlements: if you break down the per person, per night cost of your Disney Deluxe Dining Plan, and then think about the value of a meal versus the value of three snacks, make sure you’re comfortable with the math. Remember that a Table-Service meal includes a specialty beverage, appetizer, entree, and dessert in most cases, which is higher-value and much more food than three snacks.

Ultimately, though, what's beautiful about the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan is its flexibility, so if snacking your way around the World Showcase during the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival will make your vacation relaxing and magical, I raise a glass of violet lemonade in a chEARs to you!

If you have questions about your Disney Deluxe Dining Plan entitlements, or want to convert your meal entitlements to snacks, you can do that by visiting the front desk at your resort. I find that Cast Members have really helpful tips about must-try food and how to make the most of your meal entitlements.

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
