I have a small 6 year old. Is she to big for a stroller? Keep thinking we do not need one but if she poops out it would be nice to have. We always have tons of stuff to drag with us so it would help w/ that too. Advice please on strollers for bigger kids.

    Hi Deann,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  I would much rather witness a 6-year old zonked out in a stroller than a over-tired 6-year old melting down and sending their parents to the boiling point!

Personally, I think you should do what works best for our family.  For my family, if renting a stroller for my six and eight year olds saves their legs and our sanity during a long day - so be it.

I would suggest simply renting a stroller once at the park, if necessary.  The rental strollers are a simple molded plastic style, yet are incredibly easy to push.  This is nice when using them for older children.

Hope this helps, have a great trip!
