What size is the pull-down sleeper in the newly renovated rooms at Caribbean Beach and Port Orleans? Our youngest is 5-foot-4 and I can't tell from the pictures if she will fit on the sleeper or not.

Hello there, Chris! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for allowing us to help you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

Both Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney’s Port Orleans - Riverside are excellent options for those with slightly larger families! The inclusion of a pull-down bed in select resort rooms at both Disney Resort hotels allows for a fifth sleeper to fit relatively comfortably.

On the Walt Disney World Resort website, these beds are advertised as child-sized so any sleeper that plans on utilizing them would be most comfortable if they are relatively small. This Murphy-style bed is slightly smaller than a twin-sized bed so it is quite likely that your youngest child will fit. The mattress on this bed is also fairly comfortable, unlike certain roll-away beds found in traditional hotels. Not to mention both Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney’s Port Orleans - Riverside feature absolutely adorable portraits of sleepy Disney Characters on the wall beside each pull-down bed and there’s nothing quite like falling asleep next to your favorite Disney Character!

Hopefully this information is helpful in making your decision! Have fun continuing to plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation and be sure to let us know if we can help you with anything else!
