My six year old son is Baymax/Big Hero 6 obsessed. When I checked Baymax's schedule, there is not a date listed after January 31, 2019. We'll be at the parks the last week in March 2019. Does this mean we will not be able to see him

    Hi Veronica,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. On a scale of one to ten, I rate my love of Baymax as a TEN! My son loves Big Hero 6, and I love its message about being true to who you are and what you know is right, and that family and friends-who-are-family are everything.

I almost needed a visit to my Personal Healthcare Companion when I read your question, because Baymax hugs are awesome (and his meet and greet spot has some of the best air conditioning at Walt Disney World). I double-checked his hours on the Meet Baymax at Hiro’s Workshop web page, and it currently shows times in the end of March 2019. I’m hoping that the website just needed an update when you checked. I recommend keeping an eye on the page, and on the Disney Parks Blog, as updates about new experiences will be posted there.

Did you know you can locate characters using the My Disney Experience mobile app? I just checked my app by going to the top menu bar and selecting “Characters.” You can either navigate the map and look for characters in each park, or you can click “Show List” on the top right, where you can see a list in real-time of who is available to meet, and where. I see Baymax there right now!

Veronica, Baymax doesn’t sign autographs, but last time I was there, a PhotoPass photographer was there to capture our time together.

I hope your son loves every minute of his time with his hero! I’m sending him a hearty “ba-la-la-la-la-la!”

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
