Thank you for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Pamela! I’d love to help you snag a 1-day ticket to visit
Magic Kingdom! You can absolutely purchase a 1-day ticket, but if you don’t choose a multi-day ticket, you will have to choose the day you wish to visit.
Walt Disney World Resort has a few seasons during which prices will fluctuate, and when you log onto
My Disney Experience to
purchase a ticket, you’ll be able to choose a date on the calendar to visit. This, in turn, will give you prices, and you can choose the left-most box for a Magic Kingdom ticket option. If you’d like to purchase a ticket when you are visiting property, you can do so at any park ticket window or at the front desk of your Walt Disney World Resort hotel. A Cast Member at the concierge desk can assist you, too. Granted, if you can purchase the ticket in advance, that will help because you will be able to elect FastPass+ reservations in advance. FastPass+ reservations are the best way to get to the fun faster and not wait around. My family makes sure to grab FastPasses for attractions like
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train in Magic Kingdom.
Of course, I should tell you that there are no refunds on tickets. The amount paid for an unused ticket may be applied towards the purchase of a new ticket at the current price you upgrade. You may also have no refunds or credits if you use a higher season ticket on a lower season date. Be sure to check expiration dates on tickets and use them before they expire. If I can help you choose activities for your upcoming vacation, please let me know. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
