This site is great! Another ? We're at WDW Aug 1st-10th. I know it's going to be HOT but does it cool down in the evening? Coming from UK and wondering whether we need to pack warmer clothes at all, or just shorts, t-shirts etc. Thanks for all your help.

    Hi Emma,

I'm so glad you like the site, and we love answering your questions. I would not take up coveted suitcase space for warmer clothes. You will not need them if traveling in August. The average high temperature is 92 in Fahrenheit degrees, with high levels of humidity. Whenever we travel in August, we will cool down with pool time in the afternoon when the sun is at its peak and head back out for dinner and Park time throughout the evenings, wearing sundresses, shorts and flip flops.

You may, however, want to pack a poncho for the afternoon rain showers but I can tell you from experience, these showers are often the very best times to ride the most popular attractions while guests scatter back to their Resort hotels!

Have a MAGICAL vacation, Emma, and please do visit us again with anything else coming to mind.
