This site is GREAT! My question is about 'age at the time of travel' for kids. My oldest son will be 9 the day we check into our resort. He will turn 10 while we're there. Will he be considered a child the whole trip?

Hello Amy!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Mom´s Panel.

It is our pleasure to help other guests plan and add extra magic to their Disney vacation.

How wonderful to celebrate your oldest son birthday while at Walt Disney World.

Walt Disney World policy is to consider - for the whole trip - whatever age the guest is when arriving at their vacation.
That is a convenient policy for us guests.

Some guests, when using Disney´s Dining Plans, register their kids as 10 year old.
Some feel they get a better deal since their kids are able to consume all that is included for adults.
That is a load of food!!

Happy to help you plan a magical Disney vacation.
