My sister-in-law and I are bringing our little boys (both 8) to Disney World in Oct; we have tickets to a MNSSHP! The Haunted Mansion in Disneyland gets transformed into the Nightmare Before Christmas. Do they transform the HM in Disney World too?

    Welcome Foolish Mortal ~

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is my absolute favorite special event at the Magic Kingdom and I'm counting down the days until I go again this yEAR! I love seeing all of the creative costumes that Guests wear. That reminds me, I need to start planning my costume!

It is indeed spooktacular that the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland gets a merry makeover inspired by Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas every year. I would be beyond excited to see that happen at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida too. However, I do think it is awesome that the two resorts have their own unique attractions and special ways to celebrate the holidays.

The Haunted Mansion at the Magic Kingdom doesn't get a full makeover, but you will find some surprises during Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party that aren't always there. The lighting outside the Haunted Mansion is frightfully delightful giving it a special glow. While you're waiting in line, Madame Carlotta will put a devilish grin on your face with her tales of life and the afterlife. She is so funny!

There is a super Hex-clusive Disney PhotoPass Op outside the Haunted Mansion at the hearse. Be sure to check your photos online in your My Disney Experience account to see what happy haunt may materialize.

I know that you are going to have a spelltacular time Sharon and I'm so excited for you! Please feel free to visit us again with all of your planning questions. We will be hEAR for you until you embark on your pixie dusted trail!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
