My sister and I would like to travel as a group with our families for a trip to Disney World. Can you tell me if there is a way for all of us to stay together or with adjacent rooms? 3 adults 4 kids (16, 15, 12 & 6). Thank you!

    Hi Bridget,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! The Walt Disney World Resort offers an array of spacious accommodations which can easily welcome larger parties. However, the most economical option would most likely be to request two adjacent and connecting rooms at the same Disney Resort Hotel.

When making the reservations, please make sure to specify that you wish to book two connecting rooms linked by an internal door, rather than just adjacent rooms which are next to one another, but lacking that internal door in between. That is, unless your wish is to stay in two separate rooms that are simply next to each other. To make room requests, please contact Disney directly by calling (407) W-DISNEY, or (407) 934-7639. The Cast Members will note your reservations with the requests, but please keep in mind that these are not guaranteed.

Disney Mom Tip: If you link the two room reservations through My Disney Experience you'll be able to coordinate your entire family's vacation plans by booking dining reservations, arranging for FastPass+ selections, enabling Disney Memory Maker photo sharing between the two reservations, etc. Here are the step-by-step instructions for connecting Family & Friends.

I hope this information was helpful to you, Bridget. Please write back with any other questions you may have for us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We'll be very happy to help you plan a most memorable vacation.

Wishing you an unforgettable visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
