Hello, my sister and I are staying at Port Orleans-French Quarter. I will use online check-in so we can immediately start exploring the resort. But I was wondering how early you can do the online check-in and if there are advantages to checking-in early?

Thank you for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Trapper! I adore Online Resort Check-in because it takes an entire line item off my to-do list! Ever since this feature has been available to me, I’ve been rocking it and I love the improvements and availability on My Disney Experience.

As soon as 60 days prior to your check-in arrives, you can log onto My Disney Experience and use the Online Resort Check-in feature listed below your Resort reservation. You can make requests, select preferences, and identify an arrival time. Of course, no room is guaranteed to be ready if you show up early, but Cast Members will make every effort to see that your room is ready upon your arrival. Standard “room ready” times of 1:00 PM for The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and 3:00 PM for the other Disney Resort hotels are the rule, but I’ve been able to get into a room as early as 10am when my 7am flight landed for early morning fun. I’ve also checked in before 11am to Disney’s Pop Century Resort and been able to request a refurbished room, if it was available… and it was! I adored the new layout and will stay there again in a heartbeat.

If I can do anything to help plan your magical vacation, please let me know. Remember, you can book FastPass+ reservation at 60s days before check-in as well, so you’ve got a lot to do that morning. You’d best put it on your calendar, and we’ll see ya’ real soon! ~ Lindsey P.
