My sister is staying at POP and my family will be at the Poly. We plan to share a rental car. She will keep it at night and then park at the Poly and we'll take Disney transportation together from there each morning. Will that be an issue?

Hello Suzanne!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

To facilitate trips to ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex and a visit off Walt Disney World Resort property during last year's Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend, my wife and I rented a rental car.  When we check into Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, we described the rental car to Guest Services and provided the license plate number.  We had no problem parking at our resort.

As 1 of the many benefits of staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, parking is complimentary.  If you are sharing a rental car with your sister's family, you will link yourself or another driver in your immediate party when you rent the car.  Simply provide Guest Services with the make, model and license plate of your rental car and then you may park it at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort during your stay as long as you are driving or a passenger in the car when it arrives at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.  Inform security that you are staying at the Resort and they will admit you.

If your sister's family is traveling without you, provide them with your reservation confirmation number and have them inform security upon arriving that they are dropping off the vehicle for you.  I would arrange this daily "drop-off" with Guest Services upon initially Checking-In, so that security will be aware that a current Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Guest is awaiting their vehicle.

Good Luck with your Travel Arrangements!
