My sister is staying at the cabins at WDW, and we'll be staying off site. She's invited us to join her for the campfire one night - will there be any problem visiting them?

    Hi Janine,

I love the campfire at the Fort! Chip & Dale, s'mores, and a classic Disney movie - what could be better! It's no problem at all to visit your sister. The campfire is free and open to everyone, regardless of where they're staying.

I assume you'll have access to a car, since you're staying off site. If so, just drive to the main Fort Wilderness gate and let the guard know that you're visiting a guest and attending the campfire. You will likely have to show a photo ID, and then they'll let you through. If you happen to be coming from the Magic Kingdom, you can take the water shuttle from the MK dock to the FW dock. From there you can walk or take the internal FW bus to your sister's loop. If you arrive via the boat, there is no guard stop and you can just proceed directly to the cabin.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
