My sister and I (32 & 37 respectively) are planning a Girl's Getaway Halloween of 2013. What are some "must do's" on your list? We're grown ups, so we would like nice shows & dinners etc...but we still love to have a little bit of child

    Hi, Michelle!

A Girls' Getaway at Walt Disney World will be a perfect way for you and your sister to have a blast together; great choice!

First, be sure to try Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, as there are some super-special tricks and treats that you won't get to experience at any other time in Magic Kingdom. (The Headless Horseman is a fan favorite, to be sure. Be certain to bring your costumes, because Guests of all ages are encouraged to dress up for this Trick-or-Treat event!)

Don't miss the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, which runs from September 27th, 2013, through November 11th, 2013. The additional activities, small plate and beverage offerings alone make this event one not to miss. Of course, once you add in additional opportunities such as signature dining experiences with "celebrated chefs" as well as culinary and wine seminars, it's a grownup's fantasy, right here on Earth.

Book a Fantasmic! Dinner Package to afford you a great meal (our favorite with this package is Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano) as well as VIP seating for this unforgettable show. If you're on a Disney Dining Plan, be sure to let me know; there's a little secret to what you can add to your meal just by using the DP while on a Fantasmic! Dinner Package...and it's yummy.

Book a dinner in the Boardwalk area, as there are so many fantastic restaurants within an easy walk or boat ride from both Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios; you can enjoy a great day in a park and then easily hop on over to a most delicious meal, then head back into a park, should you wish to do so. You could also spend a few evening hours at Jellyrolls or Atlantic Dance Hall for some over-21 fun as well. Of course, Downtown Disney hosts lots of evening entertainment as well; consider a night or two there as well!

Send more questions as you think of them; we love to help!
