My sister will be joining our family for my daughter's first birthday party at WDW in August. She will be about 6 months pregnant. Can expecting moms take a quick rest in the baby care centers, or will she have to go back to our resort?

Hi, Lottie! Congrats to your sister. My wife was 6 months pregnant on one of our trips to Walt Disney World. Being the loving dad and husband that I am (don't laugh!,) I wanted to make sure there were plenty of rest opportunities - either ones we'd plan for or ones we'd have in the back of our minds should we need to cool mama down.

The baby care centers (one at each park) offer a nice blast of cold air when you walk in, along with sofas, rocking chairs, etc. You're totally welcome to take advantage of the facilities.

You can also rest up at a restaurant (depending on how mama's nausea is.)

There are also attractions that are more laid back and offer you the chance to sit back, relax and cool down. Here are some of the most easy going ones:

    Magic Kingdom
    Hall of Presidents
    Liberty Square Riverboat
    Carousel of Progress
    TTA

    Epcot
Innoventions (air conditioned, lots of seating)
    The American Adventure
    Impressions de France
    Gran Fiesta Tour

    Hollywood Studios
    Writer's Stop (coffee shop)

    Animal Kingdom
Shaded areas along the Trek and trails
