My sister and I will be enjoying our first ever trip ever to Disney! I am 25 and she is 34. Her 4 year old will be joining us for her first time. What are some things to do that will make her trip magical? and can someone tell me about disney dollars?

    Hi Lani!

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

For your four-year-old niece, how about a trip to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique - this is very special experience for little girls, and will transform her into a princess.  The boutiques are located in the Magic Kingdom park, or at Downtown Disney.

I would also recommend dining at Cinderella's Royal Table. This is right inside Cinderella Castle at the Magic Kingdom park where you will have your family photo with Cinderella before you are shown to your dining table. The Disney, Princesses will visit with your table for photos, autographs and interaction with your family.  This dining experience is very popular so I would recommend you make your reservation at your earliest opportunity.  Reservations can be made online, or by calling (407) 939 3463 up to 180 days ahead of time.  Another character meal I recommend is Chef Mickey's, at Disney's Contemporary Resort - this is a fun, lively experience with characters such as Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and Donald.

Don't forget to collect your "First Visit" button, free of charge, from Guest Relations at any theme park.

Disney Dollars are the official currency of Walt Disney World and are accepted as cash in most places throughout Walt Disney World.  For full details of where to purchase Disney Dollars - please see here.

If you have any other questions, please come back and ask me - I would be happy to help you plan you magical vacation!
