Hi, single mum from UK, I have 4 girls (ages 6 -13) 1st trip to WDW 28th Oct - 11th Nov 2013 staying at Port Orleans Riverside Resort. Are towels provided and how often are they changed? Can we dine at other resorts? Where can we refill our mugs? ty in adv

Debbie, you and your girls are going to have such a wonderful time!

The Port Orleans Riverside Resort is beautiful. Your girls are the perfect ages to enjoy the pools, the fishing hole and the other in-resort amenities.

The rooms are serviced daily by housekeeping. Towels also are provided poolside.

Boatwright's is the table service restaurant on the property and serves Cajun-themed food at dinner. Both Port Orleans Riverside and the adjoining Port Orleans French Quarter have food courts that serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Don't miss the hot beignets from Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory at French Quarter.

The refillable mugs can be purchased in the food courts and refilled at resort food courts. They are a good value if you are staying for several days and make a nice souvenir. However, they cannot be refilled in the parks.

Some of the best dining at Disney is in the resort hotels. My family especially likes Sanaa at the Kidani Village at Animal Kingdom Lodge; Kona Cafe in the Polynesian Resort; and the Cafe May Cafe at the Beach Club. You can access other resorts by bus from the theme parks or Downtown Disney.

Downtown Disney is a short boat ride from Port Orleans and has many family-friendly restaurants. Our favorites are Wolfgang Puck's Cafe and Raglan Road.

You can make advance dining reservations for restaurants in the resorts, theme parks and Downtown Disney 180 days in advance. We like to study the menus as a family and make one reservation for lunch or dinner each day.

You can make the reservations and get descriptions on the Disney dining site. Allears.net, an unofficial Disney site, also has up-to-date menus of the table service and quick service restaurants at all the parks and resorts.

I hope that helps and that your visit is magical.
