I am single mother who is planning a mother/daughter trip in October of 2009. I have one situation I would like a little help with. We would really love to stay at POFQ but it costs about $400 more to stay there than PC. Is it worth the extra money?

Hi, Port Orleans French Quarter is an amazing Resort.  The Disney Standard is virtually the same at both resorts.  The difference in price in my opinion boils down to amenities.  Coffee makers are in all of the rooms at Port Orleans along with a mini refrigerator.  The pool at the French Quarter has a slide in its pool.  There are activities like fishing as well for an additional fee.  The Pop Century rooms are slightly smaller, but there is no less magic.  We like to stay at the Pop Century as we love the food court.  We only sleep in the room so we use the money we save to do other activities.  Follow your heart.  I hope you have a fabulous trip with your daughter.  Heather M.
