How can a single mom , on a tight budget afford to take her child to Disney?

Mildred, magical experiences are available on a budget! No fairy godmother needed.

Special offers. Keep an eye on the Special Offers page on the Walt Disney World website. Free dining, discounts on rooms, and package deals appear here.

Value resorts. The lowest priced places to stay on WDW property, value resorts offer fun pools whimsical theming, food courts, access to Extra Magic Hours, and free transportation to and from the parks and airport.

Base tickets. Skip the add ons such as Park Hopper and stick to one park per day for the lowest cost ticket.

Pack peanut butter and breakfast bars. Save on food costs by eating at least one meal per day in your room. Stock up on soda and snacks for additional savings.
Nix the souvenirs. Stay clear of the shops to avoid extra spending.

Research. Many nonDisney sites such as Mousesavers offer fantastic ideas for saving money when visiting Mickey.

A trip to Walt Disney World with your child will be an enchanting experience you will talk about with excitement and happiness at the dinner table for years to come. Where else can you zoom through space, fly on elephants, cruise with pirates, dine with royalty, and conquer mountains all in one day?
