I am a single mom, bringing my kids (13, 11 and 8) to WDW this Christmas. My youngest is afraid of roller coasters, but my older 2 love them, so do I. What would you recommend for us? We want to ride Tower of Terror, but not scare my daughter to tears!

    Hi Rayona,

As long as you're happy for your eldest children to ride without you I think Disney's Rider Switch would be perfect for your family. This basically means that someone stays with your youngest child whilst the other 2 dare devils ride and once they've ridden you switch and can bypass the queue. For information see the video titled "everyone has fun with the rider switch" which can be found HERE.

Tower of Terror is pretty scary for younger children, although I know many that love it, as the ride is very dark. The actual dropping part is fun but it may be worth watching some YouTube videos of the ride to see if you think your daughter would like it!

    Have a great trip,
