I am a single dad with two boys 6 and 9 my worrie is that there are not enough rides that offer enough seating so that i can sit with both boys on the same ride. what is your advise.

    Hi  Keith,

I have taken my twins to Walt Disney World on my own several times, so I completely understand the concern about facing the attractions as a threesome. There are actually very few rides for which this is a problem. The only real issues I can think of with kids the age of yours are the shooting rides of Buzz Lightyear and Toy Story Mania. These are gentle attractions, where you could put the kids together in the car in front of you, while you ride directly behind. They would often be in your sight and always within your earshot.

Most of the other rides they would enjoy have bench seating (Pirates, Jungle Cruise) or the ability to seat three people in a vehicle (Haunted Mansion, Spaceship Earth).

There is a very complete run-down on this topic on the independent website blog.touringplans.com. Search there for an article called "Avoiding the Odd Man Out." This gives the exact seating specifications for every ride on property, letting you know exactly where three can fit together.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
