Hi, I am a silver pass holder. For Dec. 31, 2016 I have a reservation at the Board walk hotel and dinner at the Flying fish. I wonder if we can use the passes to get into Epcot. I looked about a month ago and this date was not on the blockout list.

    Hi Francisco,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question. I’ve got a Gold Annual Pass, so I know all about checking for blackout dates! Unfortunately, from what I can see from the Annual Pass Blockout Calendars, the Disney Silver Pass does have December 31, 2016 as one of the blockout dates. You won’t be able to visit Epcot with your pass that night.

That being said, I’ve often been able to see portions of IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth from the International Gateway and the bridge towards Disney’s BoardWalk. If you get there early enough, there may be viewing locations there for you to enjoy the show after your dinner at Flying Fish. There may also be special entertainment for you to enjoy on New Year’s Eve along the BoardWalk.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
