Do the shore excursions leave shortly after docking? Is there time to grab breakfast? Also, some excursions are almost 11hrs long. Is it possible to take one of those without worrying about getting back to ship on time? Europe cruise in May '14. Thanks!

Welcome back, Christine! Only a couple more months until you head overseas for what is sure to be a magical adventure with Disney Cruise Line!

If you venture out on one of Disney Cruise Line's Port Adventures, you're secure in knowing that they take care of all of the details, including making sure you're back to the ship in time. And if your tour is running a bit late, the ship always knows where you are, which is so important! If you head out into the port on your own and run late, the ship doesn't know and may leave without you. Taking Disney's Port Adventures gives our family peace of mind and also ensures that we'll have a fabulous experience, as Disney partners with amazing tour operators to ensure that Disney's guests get to see the port of call like no one else can!

As you book your adventures during your online check-in, you'll see the departure times of the adventures. Additionally, once you're onboard, you'll receive tickets listing the meeting times and locations for each adventure. Most of the adventures have meeting points onboard the ship, so you can head to breakfast first, or even order Room Service, then get to your meeting spot to go off on your adventure. Disney makes it very easy! I hope those details help as you continue planning, Christine!

Stop back again if you have other questions before you set sail!
