Can I share my sister’s memory maker if I go to the parks for 2 days before she arrives? My family will go to parks for 2 days before my sister’s family arrives and we go together. Can I use her MM before she arrives and her tickets/reservation kicks in?

    Hi Ashley,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I see that you will be at Walt Disney World in just a few short days, and am so, so excited for your magical adventure to begin.

I checked in with a Cast Member, who confirmed that, as long as you are linked through your Family & Friends list, once your sister arrives and activates her Memory Maker product, your pictures from your first two days will appear in her account. You’ll see your pictures in your My Disney Experience account as soon as you begin taking them in the theme parks, but they will be watermarked and you won’t be able to download them. Since the Memory Maker entitlement is assigned to your sister, she is the one who will be able to download the photos and share them with you, once her account is activated at Walt Disney World.

Ashley, I recommend stopping by a PhotoPass Center when you arrive at the theme parks just to double-check that your Memory Maker is all set and ready to go. They’re a great source of information about using Memory Maker, and are conveniently located in each theme park and Disney Springs.

When I visit Walt Disney World with my extended family, we always make sure to take lots of pictures of each family together, the whole big group, and the cousins. We love looking through all those pictures and remembering all the fun we had in The Most Magical Place on Earth. Have the BEST time!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
