Is the shampoo on ship sulfate free?

    Hi Kyndra,

Getting ready for a Disney cruise? How awesome! We practically bubble up with delight when we hear about another upcoming Disney Cruise Line sailing that guests have in store.

I adore the H2O+ line of bath products Disney Cruise Line provides onboard. Guests can purchase the shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and body lotion both in the onboard merchandise shops and also at Shop Disney to keep that cruise scent going all year long.

I won't say how long it's been since I took Chemistry in school, but I do remember that sulfates are often added to shampoos. Checking the ingredients list for the H2O+ shampoo provided in staterooms, it does list Sodium Laureth Sulfate. So that would mean the shampoo is NOT sulfate free. In that case, I would suggest you bring your desired hair products and toiletries from home.

While we're talking about packing, make sure to use the packing list specific for your itinerary. My other pre-cruise preparation tip is to download the Disney Parks Navigator app before you set sail. This app will guide you with all the onboard activities and entertainment, from character meet and greets to dinner menus, deck plans, and first-run movies.

As you finalize plans for your voyage, please shower more questions our way. Have a magical voyage!

    SEA ya real soon!
