Hello! Several years ago we bought non-expiring tickets for our family. My daughter has a child's ticket. She's now 12 years old. Do we need to buy her a new ticket, or can we still use the non-expired one? Thanks!

    Hey, Laura!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. If you could travel back in time to talk to yourself you would give yourself a huge hug! You were brilliant to purchase Theme Park Tickets with the No Expiration Option. These have not been offered since late February 2015.

Disney honors valid theme park tickets with remaining admissions regardless of age as long as the have the No Expiration Option. Currently, theme park tickets expire 14 days after their first use. So if you have a 5-day ticket and only use two days, your remaining three days will expire 14 days after the first day. Check out this link for converting older tickets to current ones. The best news is that even though your daughter was a child and now considered an adult her ticket is still good. You should not have to pay an upcharge difference between adult and child prices!

Disney Dad Tip: Please contact Disney soon to sort out your tickets and link them to your Disney account in My Disney Experience. FastPass+ reservations are very important to make in advance so you skip the lines for some of your favorite attractions.

I hope this helps you plan a magnificent Walt Disney World Resort vacation for your family.

Laura, enjoy making many Magical Memories!
