I have several questions...1st at the waterparks are life jackets provided for all activities or do I need to bring our own? 2nd which parks would be best for 6 year old? I want to visit the parks that she could ride?

Thanks for coming to the Mom's Panel! You don't have to worry about schlepping a life vest onto the plane for your 6-year-old. Disney's got you covered. Just ask for one.

My pick of the water parks is Blizzard Beach, especially for a 6-year-old. Its Ski Patrol Training Camp provides lots of activities without height limits in addition to all of the slides at the Toboggan Races. The beach at Melt-Away Bay allows you to enjoy sand and bob in the waves in inner tubes. By contrast, the wave pool at Typhoon Lagoon is very powerful, and in my opinion, can knock down little ones. I feel children should be a little older and swim well before enjoying it.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
