We are set to go on a Cruise in October, if we add money to our stateroom account before the cruise and do not use all the money do we get the unused money back?

    Ahoy, Scott!
A majestic journey on the Disney Dream awaits your family this fall! You'll love the classic design of this vessel from the moment you spot her docked at Disney Cruise Line's Terminal in Port Canaveral. The Disney Dream is a perfect combination of old and new with the latest technological innovations! Your family will create some special shared memories during your sea voyage with Captain Mickey!
I like that you are thinking ahead of ways to budget for your onboard expenses. Any money added to your stateroom account will be refunded to your original form of payment, so you will get any unused money back. When my crew sails on Disney Cruise Line, I purchase Disney Gift Cards at our local grocery store each week leading up to our cruise. Once we are ready to leave, I combine them on one card on the Disney Gift Card website and use it towards souvenirs, port adventures, photos and more. I turn the gift card into Guest Services, but always hold on to it because any unused amount will be credited back to the card.
You can call Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 with a credit card and/or gift card to add money to your account up to 48 hours prior to your sail date. You can also download the Gift and Amenities form to mail or fax to Disney Cruise Line to be received at least 48 hours before departure.
Thank you for stopping by with your question, Scott! Please let us know if we can assist you further with your plans.
    Have a magical day!
