Does it make sense to use a Polynesian room as a common use spot for large family that have other rooms in the park? Use as a meeting spot, afternoon rests, etc. Never going over max adults sleeping in the room.

    Hi Tom!

The Polynesian is a gorgeous resort and I can certainly see the value in having a room dedicated to meet up, rest and take time to connect and talk with the family.

I would book a one-bedroom suite at the Polynesian at the Club Level. This would allow you access to the concierge lounge, which is a great place to relax, read, enjoy snacks and gaze at the Seven Seas Lagoon. There is even an area for kids to watch Disney cartoons, complete with kid-sized tables and chairs. You will enjoy Kakahiaka (breakfast), Auinala (afternoon service) with drinks, fruit and candy, Ahiahi (evening service) in which the menu varies each day, but includes anything from dumplings to veggies to orange ginger meatballs and Aumoe (late evening service) with wine and cordials.

The one bedroom suite will also provide you with a living room in your suite so you can enjoy a common meeting place.

Another option is booking a Deluxe Villa, such as a two bedroom suite at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort.

I hope you have a magical vacation!

    Magically,
    Stacy
