This is going to seem like a silly question but my family will be coming to WDW Oct. 2 - Oct.11! Could you tell me is this a value, peak or regular season? Just wondering what season this is considered! Also, what did people do before this site! It rocks!

    Hi Judy!

Thanks for the lovely compliment! My Disney "Mom" friends and I absolutely love helping Guests with all their Disney Vacation planning questions here on the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

If you are asking about the "seasons" as it pertains to cost, please read HERE. If you are asking about Guest attendance during that time, take a look at the information shown below. It is taken directly from the Walt Disney World Resort website. It can be found in the FAQ Page.

Although special events and promotions may influence Theme Park attendance levels, the following list highlights historic attendance trends throughout the year:

Lowest Attendance January (except New Year's Day) until just prior to Presidents' week in February.
The week following Labor Day until just prior to Thanksgiving week.
The week following Thanksgiving until the week prior to
    Christmas.

Be sure to attend the spook-tacular Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! Read more about it HERE.

I'm not sure if the second part of your inquiry is simply a rhetorical questions or not, so I'll answer it. Before 2008, when the first "Moms" Panel was formed, Guests would gather information from various online sources, including Unofficial Disney forums. Be sure to come back here for more answers to all your Disney Vacation planning questions. We'd love to hear from you again!

Enjoy a most magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
