Hello, this is our second trip to Disney. We plan to go to the MNSSHP this trip. Please let us know everything we need to know during this party-any tips, tricks, suggestions, planning ideas, and etc. would be greatly appreciated. DS is 9, DD is 6. Thanks!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this "SPOOK-tacular" question, Shinnell!

Going to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party with young children can be so much fun! Did you know guests with party tickets are allowed early entry at Magic Kingdom Park? This is especially advantageous when traveling with little pumpkins. If you link party tickets to your My Disney Experience account, you could possibly book FastPass+ reservations up to 7:00 p.m. Last yEAR I was able to secure FastPass+ reservations between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Once the party starts, there aren't any FastPass+ entitlements available; but the crowds are lighter and only the FastPass+ lanes are open.

Do line up for rare Disney Characters like Jack Skellington and Sally, as early as 4:30 p.m. Other popular Special Disney Character Appearances include the Seven Dwarfs and Moana. Cast Members will only allow guests wearing party wristbands to line up for party meet-and-greet opportunities. Hit all the trick-or-treat spots later in the evening when the lines wane. However, if your little ones can't stay up that late, stop by the candy stations whenever possible.

Don't miss Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade. Claim a spot somewhere near the middle of Main Street U.S.A. early on. The Gravediggers will do their dance a few times along the parade route, and Main Street U.S.A. is one of those spots. You'll also be able to better appreciate Cinderella Castle changing colors in the background from that area of the parade route. While the parade runs twice, the Happy HalloWishes Fireworks spell-ebration is shown only once. So be sure not to miss it!
