When scheduling Fastpass reservations, must they be an hour apart? For example, schedule the first FP at 9:00 and the second would not be able to be scheduled before 10:00?

    Hi Deborah,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We are so thankful for guests like you who return with new questions! It sounds like you're thinking about your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation. My husband jokes that I'm always planning my next trip or my next two or three trips. They don't always work out but I do love to plan.

When making FastPass+ selections, each selection is valid for one hour. You cannot schedule your next FastPass+ within that hour. However, we have found ways to work with this system. As soon as we tap our MagicBands to use a FastPass+ selection for an attraction, we open our My Disney Experience app to see if we can modify our next FastPass+ selection to an earlier time. Whether or not this works truly depends on how crowded the parks are when you visit.

We use the same strategy to secure our 4th FastPass+ selection when we are in the parks. As soon as we tap our MagicBands for our 3rd FastPass+ selection, we open My Disney Experience to start looking for a new selection. Again this depends on how many people are in the parks when you visit but you might be surprised by the number of FastPass+ selections you can make after your first three.

Deborah, thank you again for visiting us with another great question. We look forward to hearing from you when you have more planning questions!
    Wishing you a magical day,
    Amy H.
