We are scheduled to arrive on 1/29 at 4:10pm. We are going to be hungry after flying all the way from Chicago! Should I make an ADR? What time? Where? We are staying at GF. Two kids 6 & 2. Or what else you you recommend for the kids first trip? Thanks!

Hi Erin!  I too take that flight from Chicago and I think just flying makes us hungry! Since you will be arriving around dinner time I do suggest an ADR for one of the Disney resort restaurants. Since it is close and many restaurants might be booked I suggest trying the Wave at the Contemporary. It will give the kids their first monorail ride and it is standard American cuisine so should be acceptable for the family tastes. Take this first evening and explore not only the Grand Floridian but also the other two monorail stops, Contemporary and Polynesian. If you time it right you can always step off at the Polynesian and watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the beach. Above all though make sure the kids get to bed so they are ready to explore the parks the next day. I suggest an ADR no earlier then 7:30pm. It is not worth it stressing and running on your first day!
