When you scan your tickets and link them to the disney experience app, do they start their 14day countdown or does that only happen from your first visit to the park in person? Didn't want to scan them and them not work when we arrive next month.

    Hi Kirsty!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World Resort. Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets expire 14 days after their first use. This means that you are welcome to link you tickets to your My Disney Experience account as soon as you would like and you don't have to worry about the expiration date "countdown" beginning until the first time you touch them to a Mickey touch point at a theme park entrance. In fact, I recommend you link your tickets in advance of your trip for planning purposes as you must have them linked to make FastPass+ reservations!

Please let us know if you have any other questions as you continue your planning. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
