We are saying at The Grand Floridian Villas the last week in July. We are bring our 2/12 yr old granddaughter along with their parents and Aunt ( our kids) . We have done Disney numerous times over the years and are DVC members. Need help with fast pass!

    Hi Joan!

Walt Disney intended that his parks would never be finished, and he wanted to continually bring new and exciting things to Guests. The biggest recent change for the frequent Guest is My Magic Plus and all it has to offer, including FastPass+.

Start by setting up a My Disney Experience account. Use the same login information that you use to access the DVC Member Website. You will use My Disney Experience to make your FastPass+ selections. Currently, you can make selections at midnight “Mickey Time”, 60 days prior to your resort check-in, and reserve up to three FastPass+ in each park.

At Magic Kingdom, good choices would be: Meet Elsa & Anna at Princess Fairytale Hall, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin,  Peter Pan’s Flight, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad or Splash Mountain. At Epcot, I recommend Soarin’, and the Epcot Character Spot, plus one other that looks interesting to you. At Hollywood Studios, I would secure Toy Story Midway Mania, The Tower of Terror and either A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration or Star Tours. At Animal Kingdom I recommend Kilimanjaro Safaris, Expedition Everest, and Kali River Rapids.

I also recommend scheduling your FastPass+ for later in the day. Arrive when the park opens and visit those attractions that you do not have a FastPass+ for, as the queues are generally shorter first thing in the morning. Then use your FastPass+ later when crowds make make for longer waits. I hope this information is helpful, Joan! Please let me know what other questions I can help you with as you plan your family’s vacation.

Wishing you Membership Magic!
