Some say that 3 people can return with a rider switch pass. However Disney's guest service page says "Please note that only 2 Guests are allowed per Rider Switch Pass." Traveling with 9 & 2 yr old + grandma. Can you clarify?

    Hi Donna!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms panel. Rider Switch is one of the ways my family can enjoy the items on everyone's Walt Disney World Resort "must-do" list without my littlest Mouseketeer having to wait in queues for attractions he won't enjoy. When you use Rider Switch, your entire family will go to the queue entrance of the attraction and let the Cast Member know that you will be using Rider Switch. The first group of riders will proceed into the queue while your little one and one adult are free to enjoy other areas of the theme park. As the first group of riders proceeds through the queue, they will be given a Rider Switch Pass that they need to store safely as they enjoy the attraction. Once the first group enjoys the attraction, they will meet up with the other members of your group, give them the Rider Switch Pass and the Guests in the second group who will be riding will use the Rider Switch Pass to enjoy the attraction using the FastPass+ queue.

The Rider Switch Pass is only used by the second group to enter the FastPass+ queue to enjoy the attraction after the rest of the members of your group have already enjoyed the attraction. In my family of four, one adult will ride with my older son, while the other adult will enjoy the theme park with our younger son. Then when the first adult passes the Rider Switch pass along to the other adult so they can enjoy the attraction. Since two Guests can use the Rider Switch Pass, my older son will ride the attraction with both the first adult and the second adult, as the second Guest on the Rider Switch Pass. We love this system because both adults get to enjoy special one-on-one time with both of our little ones during our vacation!

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
